Alexander DesForges is an experienced communications professional. After 11 years working as a journalist, he became communications director for the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales for 17 years, also working as press secretary for Cardinal Murphy O’Connor and Cardinal Nichols. 

In 2010 he was media director for Pope Benedict’s state visit to the United Kingdom and has worked on communications initiatives in Rome and the Holy Land. 

He is currently Communications Director for the Santa Marta Group, the anti-human trafficking charity.
